This is a rare opportunity to join a growing and lively small charity, where your ideas and contributions will be highly valued and your professional development will be supported. Salary: £21,312 per annum pro rata (JNC scale point 12) Hours: 7.5 per week, including some evening/weekend work (initially to March2011 with extension subject to funding. Main responsibilities: To co-facilitate (as part of a team of 3) a support service for young people who are affected by HIV, including fortnightly youth group and one-to-one support. We are looking for a passionate and motivated individual who can bring their engagement with young people and their commitment to human rights to a growing support service for young people living with HIV.

At least 2 years' exerience working with young people, including group and 1 to 1 work. Awareness of key issues facing young people affected by HIV. Ability to engage with young people and other professionals. Ability to maintain professional boundaries & reflect on own practice. Passion for championing the rights of young people affected by HIV. Commitment to inclusive ways of working.
